The anchor hotel
Marriott's page for the DOUGLAS calls it “the anchor hotel to the Vancouver Canucks” and the place to start a night at Rogers Arena or BC Place. The page does not say what that means in practice, so do not expect the team in the lift. What it does tell you: the hotel builds its pitch around game nights, and so should your booking. Request early for weekend games.
BC Place: football and soccer
BC Place is home to the BC Lions and the Vancouver Whitecaps, and has a retractable roof. On the stadium's own calendar for the weekend we checked: the CFL Western Semi-Final on 31 October and the Whitecaps against the Seattle Sounders on 1 November 2026. The next dates after that on the stadium calendar are concerts in 2027; see show nights.
The game-day routine

Honey Salt runs a Stadium Menu; the weekday express lunch runs 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- 4p.m.
Down time
Rooftop park, or the gym if you are the type.
- 6p.m.
Walk
Rogers Arena is a block away, Parq says. Leave time for the security line.
- 10p.m.
Back
D/6 on the sixth floor, or Centre Bar on Level 2 (19+) with its screens.
Away game? Watch it here
If the team is on the road, the Sportsbook Lounge on Level 3 has a 50-foot screen that can show up to ten games at once, and Centre Bar on Level 2 has 4K screens. Both are on the gaming levels, so 19+ with ID. Neither takes table reservations for the screens.
Parking
On event days Parq's self-parking moves to a $25 to $35 event rate from three hours before the start. If you are staying over, look at the parking page before you drive in.
