Weddings
Parq's wedding page offers outdoor ceremonies in the rooftop park, on the Fairview Terrace or on the private terraces of the luxury suites, plus private hotel suites for intimate gatherings of up to 30 guests. Marriott's wedding listing puts the Parq Grand Ballroom at a maximum of 800 guests and the Kitsilano at 300; elsewhere the same pages talk of receptions for 1,144 and ceremonies for up to 1,000. Read those as different set-ups; your planner will give the real number for yours. Menus can cover Chinese, Indian, South East Asian, Persian and West Coast cooking, according to the events team.
Group nights out
For a smaller crowd, Honey Salt, The Victor and D/6 take groups of eight or more, and the Johnnie Walker Lounge off the casino floor is a private room for up to 50 guests aged 19 and over.
Where we fit in
