The one way we earn
When you send a request through our form, our desk looks for a room at the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver or the DOUGLAS for your dates. If you accept one of the options and the stay is confirmed, the hotel, or the booking partner that completes the reservation, pays us a commission. You do not pay us anything, now or later.

- Affiliate links
- None. Buttons to the hotels' sites go to their official pages with no tracking code.
- Analytics and trackers

If any of that changes, this page changes first, with the date.
Why a booking desk, and not just links
A show night is not an ordinary hotel search. The date is fixed, the building next door is sold out, and the difference between the two towers matters. A person checking both hotels for you is more useful than a list of links, and it is the only part of what we do that someone pays for.
What this means for our reviews
We earn the same whichever tower you pick, so we have no reason to push one. We earn nothing if you book direct with the hotel, and we still link to the hotels' own pages on every important page. Our verdict lists what is weak about the place in the same detail as what is strong.
