JW Marriott rooms: the quiet side of the building

What you get

The JW calls its rooms and suites spacious, contemporary and coastal in feel. Expect wood, earth tones and big windows. Some rooms face False Creek; the hotel says “select accommodations” have that view, so if water matters to you, say so in the request and we will ask for it by name. The in-room list on the hotel's page covers premium movie channels, cable or satellite TV and Wi-Fi.

The tower runs from the sixth floor up to the 25th, according to the opening press. Floor 6 is the level of the rooftop park. Floor 17 is the wellness level, with the spa, the gym and the outdoor tub. Your room sits somewhere between and above.

The Executive Lounge floor

Some rooms come with access to the JW Marriott Executive Lounge. The hotel describes floor-to-ceiling windows in each of those rooms and a lounge that serves breakfast and evening hors d'oeuvres. The published hours:

   Weekday breakfast runs until 10 a.m.

   Weekend breakfast

   Until 11 a.m. Handy after a late show: one more hour of sleep.

3. 5:30every day

   Hors d'oeuvres

   Until 7:30 p.m. Beer, wine and cocktails carry a fee, the hotel notes.

Who gets in: Marriott Bonvoy Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador Elite members, plus one guest, at no charge. Others can book a room marked with lounge access, or buy a day pass when one is available; the page lists that pass at $150 a day. Price shown as published on 31 October 2026; it can change.

Timing it around a show

The lounge's evening service ends at 7:30. Most arena shows we list on the show-nights page start at 7 or 8 p.m. So if lounge access is part of the deal, you can eat something small upstairs and still walk to your seat. Doors open earlier than the start time; check your ticket.

Bringing the dog

The JW allows one dog per room, up to 15 kg, and asks that it never stays alone in the room. That rules out leaving it behind while you go to the concert, so plan a sitter or a friend who skips the show. Accessible rooms

The hotel says there may be a limited number of accessible rooms for each type, chosen during booking. We did not find a published count. Tell us what you need and we will ask the hotel for the exact room before we quote.
