How far is Parq Vancouver from BC Place?
Next door. BC Place is at 777 Pacific Boulevard and Parq at 39 Smithe Street; the JW Marriott's page talks of direct access to the stadium.
How far is Rogers Arena?
Parq describes it as one block away. Our getting-here page has a walking route.
Is there a swimming pool?
No. The hotels' pages list a hydrotherapy tub in the open-air Aqua Lounge on floor 17, open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the hotel says it is not a standard swimming pool.
Which is bigger, the JW Marriott or the DOUGLAS?
The JW Marriott: 281 rooms and 48 suites at opening, against 188 rooms at the DOUGLAS.
Can I bring my dog?
The JW Marriott takes one dog per room up to 15 kg, not to be left alone in the room. The DOUGLAS sells a pet package that waives its $50 cleaning fee.
Do I have to be 19 to stay?
The 19+ rule covers the casino and everything on the gaming levels, including Centre Bar, 24/7 Eats, Koi Noodle Bar and the Sportsbook Lounge. The hotels' own age rules for check-in were not published on the pages we read; ask when you book.
What does parking cost?
Non-event days: $5 an hour before 5 p.m., up to $55 for 24 hours. Event days: $25 to $35 from three hours before the start. Hotel valet is $65. Rates as published on 31 October 2026.
How do I get from YVR?
Canada Line to Yaletown–Roundhouse, 800 m from Parq. YVR says the line reaches downtown in under 30 minutes.
Where can I eat after a late show?
D/6 to 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday (kitchen to 10:30 p.m.), Koi Noodle Bar until 1 a.m. (19+), and 24/7 Eats and Parq Market all night.
Is False Creek Nights the hotel?
No. We are an independent guide with our own room desk. The hotels book on marriott.com and the resort's site is parqcasino.com.
Does a request here book the room?
No. It asks our desk to check availability and price. Nothing is booked or charged until you confirm, and we never ask for a card in the form.

Is there an executive lounge?
Yes, at the JW Marriott: breakfast and evening hors d'oeuvres, free for Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador Elite members, or with rooms sold with lounge access.
Where do taxis pick up?
At the P1 Departure Lounge. Drop-off is at the ground-level driveway outside the main entrance.
